DEEKCREEK, IN

Deercreek started with the sun and concluded with probably one of the most amazing lighting displays I have ever seen. Above the pavilion the sky lit up multiple times with these elaborate thunderless spider webs of light. At set break Page came out and told us to return to our cars, for a storm was upon us and to wait it out for an hour. The doors reopened at 11pm for a free show to all and the band came out in full force for the second set. First time in my history of shows to have the weather result in a show delay, but its timing was perfect. It poured for an hour then stopped exactly for the beginning of the second set. The drowned was rockin and the rest of the show the rain held off until the tweezer. For the reprise it was almost if the band was trying to summons the electricity in the sky and it worked. The timing of the licks and the light lined up and it made for quite the performance. The sleeping monkey drop was perfect the reprise was a great way to wrap up this cosmic night. Many folks came to the CFYE tent and made their ticket trades, and all who wanted to get in, got in. Good times.
