CashorTrade.org is a ticket trading website that helps fans obtain tickets at Face Value for cash or trade. Since the company's inception in February 2009, shortly after the band Phish made its come back after a 5 year hiatus, CashorTrade has been the leading ticket trading website supporting the face value buying, selling and trading of tickets. Creators Dusty and Brando would like to say THANK YOU to all who EMBRACE THE FACE!

The company primarily formed after seeing Phish tickets, for the welcome back Hampton shows in March of 2009, being scalped (or resold) for $2500 a piece. Although the website began with a Phish influence, it has recently expanded to include tour dates for the Furthur Tour, Widespread Panic, Dark Star Orchestra, Disco Biscuits, Yonder Mountain String Band, Sound Tribe Sector Nine, Moe, Umphrey's McGee, String Cheese Incident, and Gov't Mule.

Site Developments

As the site grows with the need for Face Value Tickets, CashorTrade has developed more tools fans can use while preparing for tour. The site now includes a Google Tour Map that pinpoints each show's location, venue information and seating charts. Fans can use this map to research distances from show to show. More tools are being added to provide fans with information regarding lodging and accommodations. Using an integrated Phish.net setlist feed, CashorTrade is providing up-to-date setlists for all shows. Also, a YouTube like website that allows users to stream live video called Ustream, offers tools which CashorTrade has integrated in their site. Live content directly from HoodStream.com and its members can be heard and watched as each song is played. The site has a facebook-like friend component that helps each member stay up to date with their friend's trades. Members can search for friends and people in their own town or state so they can trade with those who are local and they trust the most. As tickets are traded quickly, fans are using an RSS feed and a facebook application which lists the most recent trades in bookmarks or on facebook profile pages. Such widgets have also been created to provide fans who are running their own blogs a simple string of code to easily import trade lists into their own website.

Partner Developments

CashorTrade has been partnering with fan archive sites such as Phish.net, OtherOnes.net, phiShows.com as well as many blogs including; HoodStream.com, YEMBlog.com, PhishTube.com, PhishThoughts.com, DogoneBlog.com, ThisWeekOnLot.com, LiveMusicBlog.com, OhKeePaBlog.com, PhishCoventry.Blogspot.com, and many more. Scotty B, writer of the HiddenTrack music page for Glide Magazine and of the very popular blog site YEMblog.com, has been very supportive blogging about CashorTrade and spreading the word. The Surrender to the Flow Magazine, a great Phish Fan Tour magazine, continues to feature CashorTrade in each new subscription. THANK U Christy! OtherOnes.net, Hoodstream.com, and PhishTube.com are now featuring CashorTrade as their main ticket exchange group linked straight from their homepage.

What'sNext?
In the coming tour, CashorTrade will be launching many new features. Their web app for the iPhone will soon be available for all to keep track of face value tickets before the show or on lot. Profiles will undergo further development to help fans supply more information about themselves, helping users to better choose their trading partners. As long as folks continue to complete the member review section, where upon making a successful trade, members can leave positive feedback instilling trust for future trades.

Thank You

CashorTrade would like to offer thanks to all these sites and those who have supported Face Value tickets along the way. "We are super excited to be a part of such a caring community where music comes first and Face Value Tickets are supported for everyone. Together we are Phish 4.0 in 2010 and they are rocking it!," states Brando, co-creator of CashorTrade.

CashorTrade welcomes all to become a member of the website (http://cashortrade.org), become a friend of their facebook application page (http://facebook.com/phishtickets), follow them on twitter (http://twitter.com/cashortrade), and to always EMBRACE THE FACE! More members equal more tickets for all.

Happy Halloweeeeen...

What a truly amazing weekend. 8 sets of music in 3 days. It was father’s day, and all the fans where local due to last night’s show, so the driving was not an issue. We decided to take the day off from setting up the face trade tent for it was our last night of tour. We met up with our Vermont crew at this pretty rad resort and leisurely made it to the venue. The performance started with an old steel bathtub on stage, and one by one the bands little girls made it out to sit in the tub as the fellas opened with brother. A perfect opener for Brando and I, and without a razor the wolfmans brother was appropriate. Trey told the fans who were holding the funky bitch sign for many nights on end that today was their day, and they could put it down. The show rocked from start to finish. For the Frankenstein the band revealed their new snazzy instruments. Pages keytar, Mikes wild base, and Treys 5 neck guitar defiantly reviled their true rock star status. Very classy. Alpine Valley is great place to conclude the first leg of summer tour 2009. The trek from deercreek to east troy was a little trying with the traffic, but we made it to the lot before 5pm. We set up the face trade tent and it helped many folks trade their tickets for face value. The show was incredible! From the punch to the antelope, the first set was the real deal. Phish is back and they are here to stay. With a performance like last night it is hard to believe that these fellas took a 5 year hiatus. You guys are extremely talented, and we are grateful for your dedication to the music and your gift. I hope this happens once again.

Punch You in the Eye, Runaway Jim, Stash, Ya Mar, Bathtub Gin, Kill Devil Falls, Train Song, Farmhouse, Sparkle, Run Like An Antelope

Waves > Sample In A Jar, Maze, Makisupa Policeman, Ghost > The Lizards, You Enjoy Myself > NICU > Prince Caspian > Waste > Fire

Zero

I call a glide for tonite, will see.

DEEKCREEK, IN

Deercreek started with the sun and concluded with probably one of the most amazing lighting displays I have ever seen. Above the pavilion the sky lit up multiple times with these elaborate thunderless spider webs of light. At set break Page came out and told us to return to our cars, for a storm was upon us and to wait it out for an hour. The doors reopened at 11pm for a free show to all and the band came out in full force for the second set. First time in my history of shows to have the weather result in a show delay, but its timing was perfect. It poured for an hour then stopped exactly for the beginning of the second set. The drowned was rockin and the rest of the show the rain held off until the tweezer. For the reprise it was almost if the band was trying to summons the electricity in the sky and it worked. The timing of the licks and the light lined up and it made for quite the performance. The sleeping monkey drop was perfect the reprise was a great way to wrap up this cosmic night. Many folks came to the CFYE tent and made their ticket trades, and all who wanted to get in, got in. It started to rain as it does often in these southern states, but it cleared short there after. We found a great parking spot in the open air level 5, and set up the CashForYourExtra Tent. This venue is an enormous basketball arena, meaning there was no shortage of extra tickets. Folks came by the tent and proceeded to hand us their extra tickets to give back to the community. We posted them to the board and made many people happy knowing that the miracle still exists. We continued to receive a positive response to our mission of keeping phish tickets at face value. The show was well done. The first set carried much in the same energy as Camden, and the undermind concluded with a rotation of solos. Each band member took their turn and transformed undermind into a funk breakdown. For the Frankenstein, Mike unveiled his crazy looking new bass, and Page debuted his 80's Keytar to add some comic relief to this rip roaring way to close the night.. This progressive little mountain town reminds me of Vermont. The landscape is very green, and the small bars, coffee shops and local art creates a vibrant sense of community. We setup the CashForYourExtra Tent on the side walk and many stopped in to post to the bulletin board. The Ashville ticket was by far the hardest ticket of the tour. Folks were willing to trade their Fox and Red Rocks without hesitation. This venue was extremely small, but up close and personal. Asheville is a personal favorite of mine, and a favorite to-date. An intimate night in a small venue. It started with an explosive kill devil and Trey mentions a sneak peak into Fishman’s journal from back in the day which reveled or inspired 4 classic tunes. During the dog faced, fish took his rest on center stage and the other greats soon were soon to follow. Mentions of tube, that rockin gumbo with funky coda, to Fish singing lengthwise. The bold as love, the new bluegrass cactus tune, backwards down and the energy of the rest of the night was well how do I say, perrrfect. $3 water, $5 beer, plenty of seats, cordial staff, and a rockin 2 sets of music. I thoroughly enjoyed this indoor show.

Kill Devil Falls, The Moma Dance, Sample In A Jar, Stash, Dog Faced Boy, Gumbo, Tube, Lengthwise, The Divided Sky, When The Cactus Is In Bloom, Bold As Love

Backwards Down the Number Line >Ghost >Fast Enough For You, Halleys Comet >Maze, Alaska, Theme From The Bottom, Golgi Apparatus, Possum

E:Loving Cup

CAMDEN!!!

Camden!! well what can I say. This show was by far the hottest show of the tour. It wasn’t the old school set list, or because I love rift, it was the evident intensity of the overall performance that resonates in my mind. You could tell that the band had rested up and made the decision that New Jersey was the state to be the lucky winner of the hose. The drive from Greatwoods was easy enough, and the city traffic didn’t faze us much after being schooled with Jones Beach and Manhattan for a week. We spoke with many folks on lot about CashForYourExtra.com and received some great feedback from some of our current users. Many fans found their Camden tickets for face value using the website and through our bulletin board on lot, and were grateful for the opportunity to obtain tickets for a fair price. This is our home town venue. We grew up in Southern NH before moving to Vermont, and memories of the wooden fence and camping down some random side trail off of route 5 always brings a smile. This day was the first day in my mind of summer tour. We escaped the rainy cities and the sun was finally in full force. The CashForYourExtra Tent went well. About 10 tickets found their way into our hands and we picked 10 people off the board and got them into the show for face value. We also met many others who have used the site to obtain their tickets for the whole tour. Thank you for the positive feedback. The show was professionally done. EPIC FLUFFHEAD!!!!! thank you. Another rock’n show. Beginning the show with a divided sky was an appropriate fit and in my mind it helped the rain slow. It’s been a few days since I last updated the ol blog so I will give you a quick summery. This week of shows has been an amazing little journey into phish history. Thursday Jones Beach started off much like Tuesday in NY. A little traffic out of the city to the show, a little more rain but again it cleared up for the music.

Grind,The Divided Sky ,Ocelot ,The Squirming Coil, Punch You in the Eye, Dirt, NICU, Ghost, Run Like An Antelope

Water In The Sky ,Birds Of A Feather ,Drowned, Meatstick,Time Turns Elastic, Waste, You Enjoy Myself

E: Rock and Roll

The acupla to open reminded me of the old days, the divided well needed after the rain, the ocelot I like it a lot, the early coil very nice, the punch got everyone geared up, the dirt and nicu reminded me of boston 95 the ghost was funky but not dark and the Antelope rocked.

Second set was nicely done, fun to hear the Japanese meatstick, good times. It was still wet in the stands but encoring with the rock and roll dried things right up.
CashForYourExtra went well on Thursday. We set up the tent and ran into many folks who are using the site and have found 90 % of their tickets for this tour. Instead of taking kids numbers and connected them with each other we bought a bulletin board to post your trades. We have been taking the board and your postits to all the shows, for those who want to just stop by the tent and make a trade. Great to see us working together to keep tickets at face.

JONES BEACH TUESDAY 6/2

Left Brooklyn and arrived on lot at 5pm and it was pourrrring. After hangin low in the truck for a few minutes the rain finally subsided, and again another divided sky rainbow deal. Seems like the theme of this northeast part of tour. We set up the face trade tent and met many of you who share in the similar mission, and that is “RISE UP!, and lets take these scalpers out of the game.” Lots of great feedback, and we are excited to see the positive response. Jones Beach had a whole different feel than Fenway. A much more intimate scene on the water. Smaller crowd, and many extra tickets on lot, but don’t expect to see the same tonight, for Thursday is a much more conducive day to rock the night away. The show was, how can I say f’n fabulous. Opening with the runaway then tossing the timber the cities, driver and if I could, keeping the first set with a good mix of classic phish. Then the second set. Well, you can see the set list, enough said. I will say the new tune Kill Devil Falls was the rock’n roll tune of the next era of phish and I loved it. Great mix if changes, up beat, technically savvy and a good time.

Runaway Jim, Foam, Stealing Time From The Faulty Plan^, Timber, Cities, Driver, Reba, Possum, Farmhouse, If I Could

Mike's Song > Simple > Wolfman's Brother > Weekapaug Groove, When the Circus Comes, Kill Devil Falls^ Harry Hood > Loving Cup

E: Suzy Greenberg

Can’t wait to see what they pull out tonight. It was 5pm when we arrived, much later then we wanted, but thats just how it worked out. After battling the traffic we pulled into town and found the Omni Parker Hotel. We got denied for the overnight parking in the garage because that bitter sweet rack made us exceed the height limit, so we found a parking spot that had a 2am restriction and we jumped the subway to Kenmore. Outside Fenway phish fans flooded the streets as the rain started. Then it really started to pour and fans restlessly made their way to the entrances. The overall vibe was up beat and very positive. Good ol Baston, the scent of hot dogs and incense filled the air while that great Baston accent let you know you were in Massachusetts. The mixture of old and new fans was good to see. Bumped into many friends from my past, and everyone was just excited to see the band after 5 years of hiatus. As we found our way to section 6 where there was good dancing room the sky parted and the boys walked out on to the field sporting their red sock jerseys and performed the star spangled banner. The crowd went wild. It was a trip to see that many folks all crowded around to see these 4 fellas regroup. Fenway is huge, and I am honored to say I had the opportunity to see the band take this next step in their career. From the unh gym were we first saw them in 93, to the Worcester Centrum in 94, to the Clifford Ball their first festival in 96, to now Fenway Park some 16 years later. The show was perfect. Besides the Destiny Unbound (3rd time played in the history of the band) drop and the Curtis Loew (Allen Collins and Ronnie Van Zant and performed by Lynyrd Skynyrd tune) another big drop from the old days, and the flawless Cavern (two thumbs up fellas) this show sported many highlighted moments. Here is the set list:

I. Sample In A Jar, Moma Dance, Chalk Dust Torture, Ocelot^, Stash, Bouncing Around The Room, Poor Heart, Limb By Limb, Wading In The Velvet Sea, Down With Disease, Destiny Unbound, Character Zero

II. Tweezer, Light^ > , Bathtub Gin, David Bowie, Time Turns Elastic^, Free, The Ballad Of Curtis Loew, You Enjoy Myself

E. Cavern, Good Times Bad Times, Tweezer Reprise

Many thanks to Phish, and thank you, for making the tour opener a smooth and pleasant way to begin this summer 09 journey. After the show, Brando and I went to the bar Game On with our sister, bro, and met up with some old friends. We then made it back the hotel with sissy and bro and had this killer clam chowder at 2am, then headed back to NH where we crashed in a rest area. It all worked out. The next morning we awoke, found a starbucks to plug in the computers, and got cranking on cashforyourextra in preparation for Jones Beach.

- Added a "new post" reply label to your posts under your my trades page.
- Added a "reply" next to the post
- Working on the my requests section to look like the my posts section on the my trades page.
- Highlighted discussions

CashforyourExtra.com goes 2.0!

Brand and I cranked out this week to get the site ready for tour.
